I'm a sucker for 'suckle'! :-) On the subject of subtlety, I was with DS1 for a nursery induction session (lovely nursery class, unfortunately the current teacher is leaving.) and he was holding a stencil to his face and jabbing at it with a pencil for a while - eventually I realised he was trying to recreate face painting. A girl sitting next to me said something about how you could use those pencils for it, so I waffled sagely on about how it was best to have special pencils and how the wrong thing could bring you out in spots and she said " You've got lots of spots - is that what you did? " Oh and for Ruthie, it's started here too - you are not the only one whose son commandeers your laptop to watch DVDs (I bet Yeshaya wasn't watching The Snowman/Father Christmas though) -- jennifer@...
