Guest guest
Hi! I am also removing my amalgams, but my dentist is going much more slowly than yours. She removes just one amalgam each three weeks. Next session, she wants to remove two amalgams and I am really hesitating allowing it because of the side effects I have after each removal. > > Yesterday was day 1 of removel. All went well six down and 7 more to go. > The remaining is to be removed in two settings over the next month. > Currently taking most of the supplements that AI recommends but not > all. > I dont think adrenals or thyroid are both are up to par because of as > I have posted in past, cant gain a pound and have lost all mass and used > to be strong guy.My average temp taken 3 times dailey is 97.1 with the > highest being 97.6.Total weight loss 35 lbs. > What can I do to help until I get in to the thyroid Dr?My joints and > body are hurting severe pain.Feet and hands are so cold my wife cannot > touch them.I can hardly walk due to foot pain. > RG >

I had mine replaced, one or two at a time, over a period of a couple months (I had 7), and this worked for me. My appointments were never on the same day of the week (a Huggins thing).----------Jackie Next session, she wants to remove two amalgams and I am really hesitating allowing it because of the side effects I have after each removal. ------------How many have you had done so far, and what are your side effects? How many do you have left? What supplements have you been taking? A Vit C IV is supposed to really help, if you can get one. I took activated charcoal before and after each visit, and also took 1 gram of Vit C every hour right afterwards. I think the Vit C can really help. But the bottom line is, it is your decision and if you are really nervous about doing two fillings at once, then tell your dentist this, discuss your side effects, and go even slower, if you feel you should. The only exception I would make to this is if these were your last two to get done, then maybe go ahead, because then you could start chelating.-------Jackie > > Yesterday was day 1 of removel. > RG _._,_.___ Messages in this topic (3) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages MARKETPLACE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Earn your degree in as few as 2 years - Advance your career with an AS, BS, MS degree - College-Finder.net. It seems really important during the removal process, and your adrenal glands need/use alot of it also.--------Jackie I dont think adrenals or thyroid are both are up to par because of as I have posted in past, cant gain a pound and have lost all mass and used to be strong guy.My average temp taken 3 times dailey is 97.1 with the highest being 97.6.Total weight loss 35 lbs. RG --------------I recently posted alot of adrenal and hormone links, so you could do some reading there. Drinking water with sea salt in it is good for the adrenals, and also plenty of Vit C. They also need magnesium and B vitamins. And there are herbs you can try like licorice, or adrenal cortex extract, and Isocort is OTC and contains cortisol. Selenium helps convert T4 to T3, and some take iodine for their thyroid, and some say coconut oil is good for it also. ----------Jackie _._,_.___ Messages in this topic (1) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages MARKETPLACE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Earn your degree in as few as 2 years - Advance your career with an AS, BS, MS degree - College-Finder.net. Guest guest
My holistic dentist said there's less exposure if you do it all in one sitting (as long as safety measures are taken). I thought the standard was to remove amalgams very slowly but I see I was wrong and there are more options. -----------Depending on your health and how you handle the removals, slow can be a good way to go. I don't think there is one right answer to this. And the point I would like to make is, that we cannot take the same person and put him through dental revision twice, and see what method works better. I can't go back and do it another way, to see if it would have been any different. So what works for one and may be best for them, might not necessarily be best for you. And we all enter this with varying degrees of health and possibly other factors, so I think it's really hard for me to say what will work for you. Follow your gut instinct, might be my best advice.-----------Jackie > > > > Next > session, she wants to remove two amalgams and I am really hesitating > allowing it because of the side effects I have after each removal. > > ------------How many have you had done so far, and what are your >side effects? I have removed three amalgams. The side effects were deep increase of coldness, a very foggy brain and feeling very weak. ----------IMO, these side effects would warrant you to go slow. You mention below just starting to take licorice and it helps, so your adrenals are probably weak. So supporting them will probably help. Lots of Vit C is good for the adrenals also, and some people take sea salt in water to help them too.----Jackie >How many do you have left? There remains two amalgams and to see what is under three crowns. ----------You have a ways to go, so taking your time might be best for you. Maybe if you keep working on your supplements and figuring out hormone stuff, you may feel better and handle the removals better. Do what *you* feel your body can handle, not what somebody else tells you.------------Jackie >What supplements have you been taking? Vit C, B, magnesium, zinc, milk thistle, chromium picolinate. Recently I have added licorice, which seems to work very well, and I will add probably more supplements trying to take what is recommended by Cutler's protocol. ------------Yes, it takes time. Antioxidants are very important, so you might want to think about adding Vit E. Make sure you're taking plenty of Vit C, especially after removals.----------Jackie > A Vit C IV is supposed to really help, if you can get one.
