I was just reading an old message on this site from 2006 and someone

talked about how mercury does not interfere with Pregnolone levels? Is

this true or false?

----------On page 113 of AI, it says that mercury poisoned people will often

be low in DHEA and pregnenolone. And it is my impression that it can pretty

much mess up any or all of your hormones.-----------Jackie

So, if my Pregnolone blood test comes back normal-

what will I need to do do or not do. My DHEA is supposedly normal and

supposedly mercury does not interfere with DHEA levels either. True or

false?

-----------Same as above, says it's often low in mercury poisoned people. And

DHEA is produced by the adrenal glands, and we know mercury causes adrenal

problems, so the above statement is false.-----------Jackie

My cortisol at night is high

---------Have you tried taking phosphatadylserine at night for this? It is

supposed to help. I believe 300mg is the recommended dose.---------Jackie

so I do have adrenal issues which

mercury does mess with-obviously we all know that. I am not sure where

I am going with this, but if someone could assist with answering the

questions above & provide any additional info. on supplementing

Pregnolone if I find out I need it. Thanks, Sidney

----------Read the sections in AI about hormones, and on page 161 about

pregnenolone. I have been taking DHEA Plus, which has 25mg each of DHEA and

pregnenolone, twice a day, so 50mg of each. My DHEA was low normal on my saliva

test, and I don't think I have ever had my pregnenolone tested.------Jackie
