As we have all had a gripe about our DH's, on a more positive note here's a

list of the things my DH does do:-

He works full time - 9am-5pm

All major DIY

fixing anything from leaking taps to speakers in the TV speaker

cooks 50% of the time for us

fills dishwasher

puts dishwasher on last thing at night

empties diswasher (if I haven't got round to it)

cuts grass

goes to tip with building rubbish

takes DS to swimming on Saturdays whilst I go food shopping

Makes his own tea/coffee during day/evening

Puts dirty washing in or near linen basket

Goes shopping (less now I am better but he used to go every week)

Gets the odd shopping (i.e bread) from shop near work

brings my washing in at night (on clothes horse)

puts rubbish and recycling out 50% of the time

mends his car (brakes etc)

I don't really expect dh to do anything in the house. Whatever he does do

is a bonus. I don't expect him to do a lot in the evenings, which makes my

work seem more spread out. But, it's not like I am working flat out during

the day.

He works 8 - 6ish, fairly high-powered and stressful job.

He coaches football for ds2's team.

He does almost everything associated with ds1's football.

He reads dd1's bedtime story.

He is much better at entertaining the boys.

I do almost all the shopping, cooking and cleaning. I am totally in charge

of finances - he doesn't even know how to access the accounts. We do the

garden 50/50, although we do have hired help for this too.

I'm certainly not complaining about my lot in life - apart from living in

Cincinnati.
