Guest guest
Cheryl, I almost never have headaches. However, two different times in the hospital with attacks I have ended up with very bad headaches. The first time they were giving me dilaudid for pain. The last time was my most current hospitalization last week. I was being given morphine for pain. Both times when they switched to demerol for pain, the headaches stopped. Is it possible that you are taking something different for pain and that is what is causing your headaches? W Headaches I have a question, and hope someone can help. Until recently I have been doing very well. Eating so that I have gained weight (10lbs.) Working 40-50 hrs a week. But suddenly the old flare ups have come back, and with them came BAD headaches. This has never happened before and now I feel like my head is about to explode. Does anyone have an explination. Thanks Cheryl P.S. I read the post often, but time has not been in my favor, with working so much. Hope everyone is doing well.

Guest guest
But suddenly the old flare ups have come back, and with them came BAD headaches. This has never happened before and now I feel like my head is about to explode. Dear Cheryl; First - I have been using ibuprofen to break the headache pain. I suffer from migraines and prefer not to take too much extra pain medication if possible. If you are on other pain medications check for interaction first, but for some reason this works. The other thing is I am starting to keep a journal to try to figure out what triggers the migraines. I know stress is always a big factor, but they aren't sure if the trigger is allergies, environment or sinuses. I know what you mean about feeling like your head is about to explode. Sometimes I just have to go to bed in a dark room and run the fan so I don't hear any noise. The whole family knows they are on their own when this happens. Take care and I hope the headache goes away, Gail West, Indiana State Representative Pancreatitis Association International www.pancassociation.org

Guest guest
I started getting headaches after I used another chelation product. I started back up on Andy's protocol about a month and a half ago. The headaches went away. But after last week, their back. Any suggestions? I never used to get headaches, it's really getting frustrating.

It evidentally caused redistribution, probably to the brain, if it's causing headaches. And sometimes it takes awhile for these side effects to show up.-------------Jackie > > > > I started back up on Andy's protocol about a month and a half ago. The > headaches went away. You can search past posts, because I think there was some recent discussion about headaches, that might give you some ideas. Otherwise, it's hard to tell what the other chelation product did to you, and it just might take more chelation to get rid of them. And sometimes symptoms seem to come and go for people, so maybe that's what's happening here. Do the headaches happen on round or off round? Maybe you need to lower the dose.---------Jackie > > > > I never used to get headaches, it's really getting frustrating. > > > > > >
Guest guest
Only two things come to mind for me. You could be getting really tired out. Sometimes we don't recognize how exhausted we are. So, decrease the dose, make them closer together, make sure you have your supplement protocol in place. That last one makes a big difference, particularly the anti-oxidants. The only other thought is that perhaps you are high in phenolics? That would mean you should be avoiding grape juice. You aren't missing any doses without knowing it, are you? Perhaps in the night? Just one pill. That one capsule messed me up. I was sick to my stomach, headaches, anxious. I wasn't sleeping well for a while there. I got back on to ANdy's protocol, the headaches went away. I was taking 50 mg of DMSA, and 30 mg capsules of ALA, I took them with water. About 2 weeks later, I was feeling good. About 1-2 months later, I ran out of my 30 mg capsules of ALA, and I now no one makes them anymore. So, I found 60 mg capsules and just used half and mixed that into grape juice with 50 mg of DMSA, cause that combo was working well with me. I'm using a different brand of ALA. Plus now I'm mixing it with grape juice, and the headaches are back. Could it be from not mixing properly?Maybe it's the different brand of ALA. I guess I will have to lower the dose to 25 mg DMSA, 12.5 to 15 mg ALA. BTW, I'm dosing every 3 hours during the day, and 4 at night. >
