iodine contrast agent in ct scan

An emergency room visit a month ago showed, among other things, that I

had elevated D-dimer levels and so the docs insisted on doing a

contrast ct scan to check for a lump in my lungs. (I'd come in with

severe upper chest pain that ultimately turned out to be a viral

infection: inflammation of the cartilage between my ribs and

breastplate.)

Of course they injected me with iodine.

How does this affect chelation if at all? I waited about a month to

start the DMSA 12.5 mg but don't feel very good in general. (Chilled

and muddle headed, bloating)

(I'm just returned from a very difficult two month period of taking

care of my mom in Hawaii. No computer or internet so I'm completely out

of the loop.)

Thanks, ~robin
