Guest guest
Hi All- Guess that nightmare didn't mean anything. The babies are healthy and growing just fine (they are both bigger than gestational date). The perinatalogist laughed at me because I think I'm big (I only have one previous pregnancy to go by). I guess I'm pretty little for being pregnant with twins. I've been having U/S every 2 weeks which is pretty comforting. After the next visit, we go to every week. They have dropped lower but I'm still OK. The perinatalogist wants me to take it easy for the next couple of weeks though because 32 week babies do better than 30 or 31 week ones. She was concerned about my thyroid hormone levels and wants to make sure the endo keeps on top of it. My FT4 levels are below normal now but haven't moved much since last time (0.74 vs. 0.77). FT3 is still mid-normal and Total T3 is still high but dropped significantly (I'm freeing up some bound T3). Of course, TSH is still <0.01. Since my levels haven't moved much in the last 6 weeks, I'm pretty comfortable waiting for my next blood draw and appt (3 weeks) if the endo doesn't want to change anything yet. So, that's where I'm at right now. Take care, dx & RAI 1987 (at age 24)
