Well just to clarify, it happened the other way around for me. I added

grains to the list of evil foods many years before I turned " celiac "

or had allergies to them.

There's no way I can convince anyone, only open the door to more

research. But I am a strong believer in paleolithic diet. And

grains/gluten are just one of a few types of food that were not eaten

most of the time humans have been on earth.

Check out paleodiet.com for more generic info. Or if you go to

crossfit.com or performancemenu.com Many professional athletes have

turned to paleolithic diet, devoid of grains/among other things for

maximum performance. Many people are experiencing that the body runs

optimally on a combination of meat, veggies, fruit, and nuts. They

don't avoid grains because of the allergy, it's because of what the

dense empty calories in grains/beans/potatoes do to your blood sugar

levels.

After I found out/became celiac I was eating mostly paleo anyway,

cheating about once a month with some grains. When I found out I

really took it as a blessing and looked at it as a good thing that

would help me eat healthier, and not as a setback. And I think It's a

healthy empowering attitude to take toward being celiac or having

allergies to gluten/dairy. It makes me able to live with it better,

and I think could help empower other people too.

something and decides that particular food is evil and should not be

eaten by anyone. I'm glad that people find what works for them.

others should eat " normal " good food. On A-M it's milk that is often

the villian, food is not evil or bad, food is innocuous, it's the

fault of the digestion system.
