I think that more would show in urine testing when taking DMSA rather

than ALA. But if you were chelating with both then I would guess that

more would show.

I think it'd be interesting to get a test like this. My dentist is

under the " false " impression that the mercury that was showing in my

hair tests was from eating fish. Though I didn't tell him that I

haven't eaten fish in quite some time. Like to show him otherwise,

though I think his mind is already made up.

I would wait until you add ALA to increase the chance of finding

mercury in the urine. ALA takes mercury out mostly by the fecal

route, but I have heard people say that they did get more mercury in

urine samples when they added ALA.

What is the purpose of this test, btw. Are you trying to convince

the doctor that you are poisoned?

Hi, & Mike,

Thank you for your answers. So I will wait until I start DMSA + ALA.

Three months is just a blink!

The purpose of the test is to have a diagnostic of mercury poisoning.

This will have some nice consequences since then I hope our public

health system will assume some of the costs of the treatment. In fact

I will not have to pay for the 24h urine test, which is a good

starting point!
