How do you know if you are allergic to composite fillings?

Sheila, have you already had amalgams replaced with composites, and feel that

you may be reacting to them, or are you going to do this, and worrying about

possibly reacting?

If you haven't done it yet, then you can have compatability testing done, so the

dentist can choose the least reactive materials for you. www.ccrlabs.com

I went to a biological dentist to remove my amalgams last year. At

the time he offered me a lab test to determine which, if any,

materials I would react to. I think the test was about $300 and I

couldn't afford it. I asked him to just use the composite that seems

to be best for most people. But there is a test you can do to

determine if you are sensitive, intolerant, or allergic to the

variatious materials.
