We ARE on the same page ! As you know, I am always the first one yelling and

screaming

NOOOOOOO , the minute someone thinks they can use over the counter herbs !

Coming from a plant background, I completely understand how corners can be

cut in making such a product. I don't care how carefully they claim they

monitor their product. They are monitoring water. And the improper parts of

the plant will be used in the wrong proportions IF they want to make any

money..and also not be killing normal people. That is the REASON we need a

prescription for the real stuff !

Do you really think they will use the right amount of the ROOTS for the

plant if that means they have to spend another season paying people to take

cutting, propagate them, and raise them. All with losses along the way. This

part of the nursery business can NOT be done by minimum wage employees

either.

This big of such an operation requires large green houses with MUCH

expensive equipment, including the energy costs. It must also be done at the

time of year, when the professional employees are very busy with more

pressing concerns. It will take the cost of one plant from 10 cents up to

$1.50 at least. That is a conservative estimate.

Do we really believe they have the equipment to test for EVERY other

possible contaminate, that a real prescription based company does ?

These are only two possible problems with such an outfit.

Then there is the fact that, if you read peoples posts else where on the

net, it is absolutely terrifying the mixes of 'natural' remedies they are

mixing. A little knowledge is very dangerous. And the ones out there

'advising' the others makes my hair curl. They sound so convincing. And it

seems most people are too lazy to do the research needed to treat their

aliment, so take these peoples word as the WHOLE truth.

I don't know what the answer is. I have had bad luck with most doctors, and

not all people are like me. I RESEARCH everything. I take my time and am

willing to go slow and sure. Not the American way we know.

No...I don't want the pharmaceutical companies in charge of alternatives.

But some how people need to be protected from their own stupidity.

Now on antibiotics..... You had me writing imaginary posts last night. LOL

It is amazing. Most all the reasonably intelligent people I know, not only

go to work and out in public and make everyone else sick. But they all go in

and get antibiotics for every cold and flu. Why in the world do doctors pass

this stuff out ? They know it does not work on a VIRUS ! Sheesh.... Anything

to shut them up I guess. But we as a society will suffer.
