Sidney - 5htp is a serotonin precursor. I think it would be more

sensible to take that in the AM, so you can produce more serotonin

during the day; then take the melatonin in the PM.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to make sense.

I'm curious how phosphatidlyserine helps with sleep?

I have a bottle of 5htp that I have not used yet because I don't know

if there are risks with taking it at night along with other " sleep

helps " such as melatonin or phosphatidylserine. And, how does one

know if 5htp would be beneficial or not? I dream alot after 2am & I

am restless until I get up at 6:30am. Or is 5htp for people who are

depressed and don't dream. Please clarify if you can help. Thanks,

Sidney

-------------For people who have high night-time cortisol, taking PS is

supposed to help lower this so they sleep better.----------Jackie
