Guest guest
Your DH has the same rights over you SS's health as his mother ONLY if he was married to her or if he has signed a parental responsibility agreement or has a parental responsibility order from the court. ATM unmarried fathers have no more rights in relation to their children than the man next door. I agree to a certain extent with Ruth though in that I cannot see the docs doing this op just on the say-so of a neurotic mum. They must be doing it for a good reason. Your DH should speak to the child's GP/consultant if he is worried (again he can only do this if he has PR). HTH Francesca
