I take all of these supplments to support my immmune system when maybe I shouldn't be taking anything so I can get a cold or virus--- very perplexing and scary. To say if you get the occasional cold/virus you won't get cancer or whatever is just a tad simplistic, eh? I shouldn't have posted that stuff about my Dad - who is living 10+ years past his cancer diagnosis. He was also a major MAJOR, heavy smoker for decades and never really took care of himself in other ways. So who knows. I really think its a person by person thing. Val has no proof of what happened to her dad had anything to do with him not getting sick before. She said he was a heavy smoker, so like she said, don't freak out about this. So now you have me curious, what immune boosters do you take? And how long has it been since you've been sick?----------Jackie Messages in this topic (3) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages Change settings via the Web (Yahoo! Guest guest
Just to add, since I've been on supplements it seems I am not getting sick, which I find wonderful since I used to get a cold each one or two months. If one is getting sick too often, maybe one should consider depression of the immune system. Specially if using DMSA, neutropenia should be considered, I think. > > > > > > A chiropractor told me that you have to be healthy to get sick. > > In other words, when you NEVER get colds, viruses, flu etc. -- > > that's not always good. > > > > -----------I think I have heard this also, that there is > something wrong with your immune system if you never get sick> -----Jackie << >>

Guest guest
> I take all the basic supplements recommended by Andy. But, prior to finding this website-I would take multi-vitamins hit or miss, but I still never get sick. I had strep throat 10 years ago and since then I may have had one or two short lived colds. I feel like I have a strong immune system- with fighting off people's germs. I work with adults with Mental Health related issues and they seem sick frequently, and yet I never seem to catch their germs. I must have " built up " antibodies or something. I think Vitamin C is key and lots of organic fruits and veggies- and a lot of FAITH in God never hurts either. Guest guest
Yes, maybe you do just have a really strong immune system, and may have built up alot of immunity from all your exposures. Now that you say that, it reminds me of someone I used to work with many years ago, who said that she would only catch a cold from a person once, after that, she would be immune to catching a cold from that person. Very interesting.------------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation s.rickel wrote: > I take all the basic supplements recommended by Andy.
