Think Andy says once a year to check for mercury progress, I think he

said not to do it too frequently because results are misleading or

something like that.

More frequently is recommended to check copper problems, 3 months

apart. I did two hair tests about 2.5 months apart to see what

happened to my copper levels and lots of things had change. It was

quite startling really.

----------The only people I know that do frequent hair tests are the ones that

are dealing with high copper, and then I think they do them every few months.

My understanding is that metals come out in different amounts at different

times, and not in any particular order, so I don't think hair tests are very

useful for this. I don't think Andy thinks that frequent hair testing is

necessary. I think some of us do it every year or so, but of course it's up to

you. If you have money to spend on testing, you could do urine and/or fecal

toxic metals testing, to see what's coming out during a round. But like I said

above, you could get different metals and different amounts on different rounds,

so still not considered very informative. This has probably all been discussed

alot more on A-M, so you could search the archives over there. And of course

this is up to you, but I would wait at least a few months, because doesn't it

take like 4-6 weeks for hair to grow an inch?----------Jackie

You can repeat the hair test and apply the counting rules to

see if mineral transport has normalized. However, it is not

a way of seeing " what is coming out " .
