Guest guest
Thank you Ingrid dear. I wrote a long note to Narice that says it all. Say are you far from Indianapolis? I will be going through there on my drive down to NM. Just want to meet you in person. Karima Re: Amy back in hospital > > > Oh the poor thing. Guest guest
Sorry you are having a bad day. Hemorrhoids can be annoying. Did you get some prep H or something. Would probably relieve some of the burning -- even Desitin or butt paste should do that. I usually use my Aqua Phor when my butt burns, and it works really well. Though I think I would call the doc and ask him about that just to be on the safe side. Been a lazy day here. Am broke so could not go shopping, did go the other day and got some books, so trying to ration them out to last until Wednesday when I get paid again. Course I have to set some Money aside for trip to KC.. Got to have some spending money... I know will want to buy a few CD's. Hang in there kiddo, like an old Denver song I remember SOMEDAYS ARE DIAMONDS AND SOME DAYS ARE STONES. Wishing you all diamond days. Guest guest
Me too, I am sure that is one of my overnight stops; need to find a friendly to dogs hotel. Wouldn't it be just great if we could meet. Karima Re: Amy back in hospital > > > > > > Oh the poor thing. Guest guest
I am going to an Irish Festival in Kansas City, MO. My son is footing the bill, a belated Xmas gift. The original plan was to go to festival in Calif the end of Sept, and then tour a bit of wine country. But he was having trouble finding cheap tickets and the festival was charging for everything. Then I saw the advert for KC fest and saw that a couple of same performers would be at KC Fest and didn't have to pay extra to see them so thought this is THE PLACE to go. Closer, easier to fly to etc. So we are booked and I am ready to start packing. We fly out of of Waco on Friday, lay over in Dallas, and then on to KC. He said he would rent a car so that we could do some sight seeing as well. That would be cool. Have driven through KC but years ago on our way from Germany most likely to next duty station. LOL.. http://www.kcirishfest.com/entertainment.htm Here is the link if you want to check it out. Have a really super line up of Celtic groups.. Sunday night will be a bang up show with one headliner after another. Cherish The Ladies is awesome group of talented women. Eileen Ivers is Canadian, as are The Cottars, and Barra MacNeils - for Cape Breton on the east cost of Canada. That is a whole nother form of celtic music.. Very lively. The fiddlers dance while they fiddle. ... I am just so excited to be able to see all this talent at one location. Well darn, trying to find the Denver song and can't find it. Found my cassette tape of it. The album was entitled Some Days Are Diamonds but couldn't find it listed anywhere. Was dated 1981. Not on any of the compilations of greatest hits that I could find. Spose it wasn't one of his greatest hits, but I liked the song. Sure sad about Jennings, it was only 4 mons ago that he announced he had lung cancer. Must have been pretty bad to get him so quick. He was quite a guy. Hope you are feeling better... I have to get bloodwork done this morning but too late now, so will go around lunch time, probably find a parking place easier if some of folks are at lunch. LOL... Guest guest
Hi Dianna The music is soothing isn't it? Enya and those types as well as the traditional jigs etc. I love the music and pretty much all I buy these days. If you check out the sight, be sure to click on some of the websites of the performers, esp Cherish the Ladies they have some great CD's The ladies are all children or relatives of some of the old established performers and they perform with the gals on some of their CD's. You can also check out the Festival that I have been involved with for several years, this is our 9th year and while we still haven't the clout and cash to get the big name headliners we get some pretty good talent, and Austin and rest of Texas has a really good base of Celtic musicians to pick from as well. www.austincelts.org just click on festival. We have a lovely place to meet on the shores of Town Lake... called Fiesta Gardens City of Austin values is highly and every year the rental fees go up and list of rules get longer.. We are hoping some day to have our own land and place to hold our festival... Where are you located again? I just can't keep these things in my head. LOL.
