Yes, you will always get the answer 4 (forgotten what the sum is now but if

you replace " the number you first thought of " with " x " you will see that the

answer is always 4) for the first bit, so always D, so usually Denmark if

you're british.. etc etc!

I hate to be a bubble burster but this is a very old game/trick my

kids have played on me for years. Basically it *always* ends up with

the same results; and relies totally on you thinking along obvious

lines; the first country beginning with D you would think of would be

Denmark, and elephant would be the obvious animal beginning with E. I

once skuppered it by saying Eland and some obscure country beginning

with D (Dar Es Salaam or something!) which completely ruined my kid's

fun!

Try it by not using the most obvious names and you'll see!
