Guest guest
I developed numerous floaters within months of getting virtually my entire mouth full of amalgams (12 fillings in all over 3 months). I've done some minimal chelation since getting all fillings removed, and while I've seen significant improvement in other areas (particularly my gastrointestinal problems), unfortunately I cannot yet report success with the floaters. However, I've seen some anecdotal evidence that they can go away through continued chelation (check out mercurylife.org for one story I can think of off the top of my head), so I hope. If anyone who has experience with Hg and floaters can chime in here, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks! > > I have had eye floaters since shortly after I got my first amalgams as > a kid. Guest guest
I emailed the original poster, but since there seems to be more interest, I'll put up a reply via the group. I have been chelating for about 5 months now. and I have seen a noticeable improvement in floaters in that time. It is nice. I have always had some floaters because I am extremely nearsighted, but they got much worse when all my mercury symptoms hit 1.5 years ago (along with all kinds of other eye problems). I was remarking a few days ago that my floaters seem to have come down quite a lot. However, I am also doing eye/vision therapy, so that could be helping as much as the chelation. Its hard to tell. > > > > I have had eye floaters since shortly after I got my first amalgams as > > a kid. I am told they are harmless, but despite that..they certainly > > are annoying. Guest guest
Hi Ed, Thanks for reposting on the board. I'm glad to hear you've had improvement with your floaters via chelation. Can I ask what other eye problems you developed as a result of the mercury, and also what kind of eye/vision therapy you're now doing? At the onset of my symptoms, I experienced considerable eye pain/inflammation (they felt as if they were going to burst from pressure), floaters out of nowhere as mentioned, sporadic feelings of foreign objects being in my eyes, a persistent redness and dryness, and a sudden complete inability to wear eye contacts (which I'd been wearing daily for over 15 years). The eye pain eventually subsided after several months, but I still experience all of the other problems. I've seen several eye specialists, and none have been able to tell me anything or prescribe anything that's alleviated any of my symptoms, so I'd be really interested in hearing what kind of problems you've had, and what's helped. Thanks so much. Jo > > > > > > I have had eye floaters since shortly after I got my first > amalgams as > > > a kid. Guest guest
Hi Jo- I'll write a quick reply to the group, but please email me to exchange more ideas. I had/have all the eye symptoms you list. Every single one of them I wore contacts for 18 years and now I can't anymore, every since I was given eye drops with mercury for an infection 1 1/2 years ago. The no contact lens thing is horrible for me because I am -15.5 diopters. Glasses in that Rx are just not attractive, to say the least they are like Coke bottles I had terrible eye pressure too, but all my eye checkups were fine. I had pain behind my eyes that put pressure on them. It hurt to move my eyes. This has gone down a lot, but is still there. I have itchy and dry eyes too. I have to use eye drops throughout the night as I sleep and sometimes during the day. My eyes are always red and irritated. I am not sure if the dry eyes is candida or hypothyroid related. I have very dry skin too. All of this happened since I had the mercury eye drops. I used to have moist skin and eyes! I have the foreign body sensations as well, but they have gone down with chelation. I read in Andy's book that mercury can affect the third cranial nerve. That nerve goes to the cornea, so the foreign body sensations in the eye probably come from neurological problems with that nerve. I saw at least 3 or 4 ophthalmologists and none of them found anything wrong, except for blepheritis, which they wanted to treat with anti-biotics. I didn't take them. Do you have TMJ problems and/or ear and sinus problems too? I have a lot of those and think they aggravate my eyes too. I am going to eye therapy that is teaching me was to relax my eyes and brain and re-learn to see. It is like the Bates or method, very neat but not mainstream - www.eyebody.com Sorry I can't be more helpful, Ed > > Hi Ed, > > Thanks for reposting on the board. Guest guest
- Check out the CS group which is Collodial Silver. Since they wanted to put you on antibiotics, I thought of CS since it is a mild one which you can take about 3-4 times a day. Also, milk thistle helps keep the liver cleaned out. I had floaters awhile back also and thought about the milk thistle again. Years ago I failed a test at the optometrist and they sent me to a specialist. I went to this herb farm and she suggested milk thistle; to double up and I did and when I went to the specialist, he couldn't find anything wrong. -- In frequent-dose-chelation , " Ed " wrote: > > Hi Jo- > > I'll write a quick reply to the group, but please email me to > exchange more ideas. > > I had/have all the eye symptoms you list.
