Seems the mattress I am sleeping on is full of toxic chemicals (ahhhhhhhhhh!). I keep waking up in the morning feeling worse than when I fell asleep. So I am in the spare bed and it has made a difference already. It is still early days, I guess I need to do at least a week in the spare bed before I know for sure, but I am no longer waking up feeling worse. -----------I'm assuming the bed that is making you sick is new/newer? It may have other chemicals in it also, but the one thing I'm aware of is antimony is used to treat bedding (and children's pajamas) to make it flame retardant. It's discussed on Autism-Mercury alot because antimony shows up high in some kids' hair tests.-----Jackie Symptoms : lower back pain together with serious muscle weakness also in lower back. What can I do specifically about Chemical sensitivity and where in AI is it talked about? -----------Chemical sensitivity is related to liver phases, so see pages 110 and 40-42 of AI. You can also search past posts on this in any of the groups. I also think there is something in the Links or Files about liver phases. Alka Seltzer Gold can help when you react to something and grapefruit juice slows down phase 1, and there are other things that hopefully others will mention.-----------Jackie Sunshine _._,_.___ Messages in this topic (1) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages MARKETPLACE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Earn your degree in as few as 2 years - Advance your career with an AS, BS, MS degree - College-Finder.net. You might want to look at that thread and read it. There's some good information on it. mentions improvement in his Chemical Sensitivies using Niacinamids and GSE. Deborah wrote about improvement in her MCS also, and she said that she also takes NAC. I'm giving it a try.

That's perfect, just what a wanted to know. I don't have AI with me but I will have a read tonight. I react very badly to NAC, I will never go near that stuff ever again. I have done two hair tests in the last 4 months, both had low Antimony. It is amazing the amount of things I have wrong with me, and amazing the amount of supplements I am already taking, and amazing how many other supplements I still need to try/add. In the past 4 months my health has turned around, I weighed myself this morning & I have put on 10kg (22.2 pounds) in that time, which is exactly what i wanted and needed. Without AI and without this group I would be screwed. Thank you all. Sunshine

As ever I will introduce these new things slowly… O/T Re my toxic mattress. Is the mattress toxic because its toxic? Or is it my inability to handle normal chemicals that is the problem? Should I change the mattress, even if the above supplements work? My wife is pregnant so it is an important consideration for me and my family……..i'm just thinking aloud…no need to reply to this. I guess no one can answer this except me in any case…… Sunshine
