Guest guest
Stiffness, possibly, are you taking enough zinc? 50mg or 100mg a day. I found that if I don't take enough zinc or calcium, I get muscle stiffness like that. It might help to set up your dosing schedule so you get a midnight dose, go to bed, wake at four am for a dose and back to sleep until 7 or 8 am..then get up. It is harder to wake at 3am than 4am due to sleep cycles being deeper between 1-3am. I noticed this with my kids too, it is almost impossible to wake them at 3am but 4am is easier. Just an idea that has helped us here. Feeling weird close to the four hour mark is what we experienced too at first. You can take it at 3 1/2 hours to avoid that. > > Hello all i hve just finshed my third 3 day round of 25mg dmsa, and > 12.5mg ala,and noticed a day later my neck is kind of stiff, could this > be an effect of chelation? > I would have gone on more than 3 days but lately i can't seem to focus > on the alarm and take my 3am dose, the alarm goes off but i am > intoxicated and cannot fully get up to take it. > This

I have to be up at six to get ready for work. I have been able to maintain a busy schedule through all this(glory to GOD). Sometimes i forget where i came from,as i was on temporary disability less than a year ago not being able to complete a full day at work. I do still have a host of problems including muscle weakness, not able to hold weight above my head or extend my arms above my head for lengthy periods of time, after a short while burning and shaking occurs(still don't know what this is). I have noticed during chelation sometimes i get bursts of energy and are able to complete some tasks flawlessly. At other times i lack motivaion and energy,i probably need to support adrenals a bit more. I have yet to support thyroid simply because i cannot find a doctor willing to work with me in that department,or prescribe armour. As for not being able to wake up,that problem did not start until after i added ala to my chelation scedule. Could that then be a sign that i infact have brain burden mercury issues. Guest guest
I agree it can sometimes be easier to wake up (and/or to go back to sleep) at one time than another. I think the specific times will vary depending on the individual and their own circadian rhythm. I only recently noticed this myself. If a person has a hard time waking at a given time, it may make sense to shift their chelation schedule by an hour or two on the next round and see if that makes it easier to wake. -- > > > > Hello all i hve just finshed my third 3 day round of 25mg dmsa, and > > 12.5mg ala,and noticed a day later my neck is kind of stiff, could this > > be an effect of chelation? > > I would have gone on more than 3 days but lately i can't seem to focus > > on the alarm and take my 3am dose, the alarm goes off but i am > > intoxicated and cannot fully get up to take it. > > This >

Almost any symptom can occur when mercury is stirred up, depends on the person and what body systems are affected by mercury. > I would have gone on more than 3 days but lately i can't seem to focus > on the alarm and take my 3am dose, the alarm goes off but i am > intoxicated and cannot fully get up to take it. > This was my first experience with this problem previously iwould get > up and be somewhat aware of what's going on and take my dose,is this > also another sign of the meds working. > Another thing i notice isi actually can feel a difference in my body > when i am getting close to the 4hr mark kinda like anxiety/tired > nauseaous. etcc ALA should be taken 3 hourly during the day. If you are talking about night doses, for many people it is okay to take ALA 4 hourly at night, but if you notice symptoms you may want to try a shorter interval to see if that helps. --

Guest guest
I had a terribly stiff neck when I first had my amalgams out in April this year, with knots at the base of my skull. I also had terrible pressure in my head--my brain literally felt like it was going to explode. I decided to try ALA first, because it acts on the brain. This is NOT Andy's protocol, but in my case, I felt it was the right thing to do. It worked to relieve the pressure and the knots eventually went down. I had another occasion in September where the knot reappeared and the pressure in my head (not as bad as the first time, though). I added the DMSA at that point. Magnesium helps me a lot. I can't take a lot of zinc for some reason--if I do take it, I can't sleep at night. --------------------------------- Be a better pen pal. Text or chat with friends inside Yahoo! Mail. See how.
