Guest guest
Hi ette, Just got back from the ER. Massive amounts of bacteria and blood in my urine. Tried to tell the doctor that my right kidney was hurting extremely bad but she didn't seem to care much. She gave me one prescription with Macrodantin, Pyridium and Phenergan on it. Unfortunately we can't afford to get the antibiotic filled and the pharmecy won't fill just the two we can afford. I do have an appointment with my primary tomorrow at 11am & hopefully he can find something we can afford that will work. It is very unfortunate that because of my Lupus I never run a fever no matter what kind of infection I have. Tonight it was 97.7. I have terrible pain, chills and a sore throat; all things their paperwork says to watch for and come back if they happen, well except the fever. Without that they don't take you too serious. In 2001 I had a UTI that went into my kidneys and shut them down before I could see the doctor. I was in the hospital forever with that episode. In the past 15 weeks I have been on 3 different antibiotics and I do worry that eventually my body will get to the point where none of them work. I surely do wish that I didn't have Lupus because then my body would fight the infections. I am just thanking God that I made a doctor's appointment for tomorrow. I am sure it will all work out but darn I am tired of being in so much pain. First one thing then another but I am a tough old bird and will make it through this too. Thank you for your concern. It did make me feel better and more like being a fighter. I struggle so hard with wanting to give up but this web site has shown me that loving, caring people are out there and life is worth fighting for. God Bless you. Sunny From: shakeyahsganmom@... Infectious disease said to catherterize EVERY time I go to the bathroom because antibiotics weren't working. The bug mutated and became accustomed to the drugs. You do have to watch thee color and smell of your urine. I take my temperature and pay attention to other symptoms in my body because in 2007 I developed septsis and my family was told I was dying. But with prayers from church family and my family and friends God allowed me to keep living.I am praying for you and I believe this is just a bump in the road for you. Your kidneys will be heal with 100% function in Jesus's name!!!Your poems are wonderful and I will keep them always.Be blessed, ette (DE)SLE 99, TTP 99, Raynauds 99, Spine 98, PF noted 98, MS 04, AH/PBC 04, PF & PH 06, HS 09, Anemia 09...???Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
