Hello Walt, I have tried to ask you a question several times. I have problems posting so I hope that that is why you haven't answered my posts. If you don't answer this time I will stop asking. I spend a lot of time on a boat that is moored at the Oak Harbor Marina. I haven't been there since I have been diagnosed and am on oxygen 24/7. Do you know a way that I can go out on the boat for several days and still have oxygen. I really don't want to have to give up boating. Thank you. Beverley Joy, 70 IPF, Jan 09, Idaho

It’s sad that there are So many new people here and a blessing we have some place to go and so many that don’t even know were here.

For me this (home) board is the only place where I can go that people “get it†understand. Most of us don’t look sick. And that’s hard for people and family to understand I am still working full time and am one of the odd ones that doesn’t need O2 I have lost almost 70% of lung capacity but sats stay up I just run out of air. I hope to make it to one of gatherings some time. Soon I want to try and make a trip down to Oregon to take Mama Sher and her Hubby out to lunch. Take care all and for the newbie’s Welcome, all I can add is ask ask ask this is a safe place no judgment.

Walt

i was feeling similar to you

upset that there are so many new people being diagnosed with this "rare" disease

it seems like our numbers are growing -- very unfortunately

for our children's sake i hope they find cures to stop it and

causes so it can be prevented

btw--did anyone else see that Robin canceled his tour due to Shortness of Breath?

scary, isn't it?

I did. She just thought that my conserver and the E tanks would work. I'll have to ask again about nightime oxygen. Beverley

Thanks! I'm glad I found the board. I am still learning by reading, so I don't

write yet, but in the future I'm sure you'll all tire of my questions.

I tried to send a Thank You Note the night I was accepted into the site, but it

just kept coming back to me. I think I understand now that I have to send mail

to Breathe Support, and put the persons name or subject I'm commenting on in the

Subject space.

I had never used Yahoo in the past, so this is all new to me.

Thanks for all of the SUPPORT!
