Guest guest
As you know I was planning on traveling by air without oxygen but because you guys said that was really really bad and it was possible to find someone who would supply the O2 I kept looking and found someone! they will give me a concentrator for the plane and the trip and for FREE! All I had to dowas change to their company which I promptly did! So it's off to Jewish national with o2...the ony thing is they say I will have to plug it in at theairport and the hosptial. Iwonder ifthey have places to do that? Joyce rudy AZ IPF 11-
Guest guest
Joyce, You will definitely be able to plug in at the hospital. Just ask. They have patients coming in with the concentrators all the time so it won't be an unusual request. The airport may be a bit more of a challenge but I know others have done it. Ask when you check in. Also let the person who's helping you to the gate that you will need to plug in, they should know where to find an outlet. I'm glad it's all working out for you!! Guest guest
Joyce Just shows the difference between oxygen suppliers as you found one that meets reasonable standards. We knew good ones did loan travel concentrators from experience. Advice to everyone. Interview your oxygen suppliers up front. Talk to them about current and future and potential needs. Make sure they agree and tell you how they will meet all of them. If they can't, find another. Now, in some areas that isn't possible as you may not have a large choice and with some insurance you are limited, but still it's worth going to the supplier's office and talking to the manager. > > Joyce, > You will definitely be able to plug in at the hospital.
