Guest guest
Depends how badly poisoned you are but yes, the dump phase sucked for me. It lasted a good 5 months before I started feeling a bit better again. It was at the six month dump that I started chelating seriously with DMSA to reduce my symptoms, which became much worse. I would think if you are using ALA only, you will want to add in DMSA to mop up the mercury, otherwise your symptoms may become very uncomfortable. Looks like we (kids and I) did our first round, DMSA only, about a month post-amalgam removal (mine). Looks like we added in ALA to the DMSA about 3 months post-amalgam removal. We tried ALA only, another month later, and did fine. > > Also ... I know that sometimes the dump phase really smacks people ... > I'm really scared of it. Guest guest
After going through the dump phase myself..I could nto even handle ALA powder in my hands without side effects. I had to use dmsa for 16 months..it is only now after 15 rounds with dmsa alone, that I am tolerating ala. It won't be horrible if you use dmsa. I was tired, really drained. But not any worse than before my amalgams were removed. Taking tons of vitamins helps get you through it. Lots and lots of vit C! > >I wanted to know if anyone has used > *only ALA* during the dump phase and managed. I'm at 4 1/2 months post- amalgam removal. Also ...
