Guest guest
((((((((((Ingrid))))))))))))))))))) so HAPPPPPY to see your posting again!!!!!!!! We sure did miss you, hope everything is healing up fast for you. They moved Dani down to general peds floor no more ICU !!!!!!! The surgeon came in tonight to check on her incisions and when he went to remove the bandage notice that whoever closed her up( apparently it wasnt him) STAPLED the bandage to her head!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now why on earth they did this I have no idea and neither did he. So he had to remove the staples that were holding it together , now get this , she has NO STAPLES in back of head NONE , no stitches either !!!! least not on the outside, all she has is steristrips holding her scalp together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stitches are absorbable and on the inside, !!!!!!!!!! She is feeling a tad better today , was able to sit up for a bit and walk to the bathroom , (they decathed her) But still getting the headaches Sorry to ramble lol Deb Ingrid Lowe lowenco@...> wrote: Boy Deb, I sure can feel what you are going through with uncariung nurses. Guest guest
What a trooper your Dani is. Thankfully she is feeling better, am sure the headaches will go away with a little time. Glad she is about to get up and walk and etc. Bandaged stapled to her head. Oh lordy, must be related to that nasty nurse. LOL... No stitches or staples in her scalp that is cool. So won't be a major scar there and heal up nicely... and hair will grow back.. That is cool. Give Dani a big hug from us aunts and uncles here on the support group. Take care God Bless and big big hugs Jolene

Guest guest
Deb, Hopefully Dani will be feeling better each and every day. Just wish she did not have them headaches. That is awful. I am Praying for her. on my lung surgery they did not staple me either. Just stictches on the inside. Not sure what they did since I was so out of it. No staples on the outside. It is healing nicely. Just ribs hurt so bad. Getting stronger each day. Slow going. Am finally able to tolerate solid food again. That was the issue in the hospital. Could not hold anything down. Eating now is helping me build up my strength. Hopefully Dani will feel better soon. Ingrid > > Deb and Joe...
