Guest guest
Thank you , I am glad you enjoyed my conversation. I also agree with you about sometimes getting lost on the boards, not knowing what the thread is about. I read the board on the web and sometimes I am not sure where to look for conversations I am trying to follow. I think if I keep at this awhile I will understand more. I used to belong to msn groups and the boareds there were a bit different in the way they worked. This group is very active and lots of people talking to eachother and sharing information with everyone. I suspect I will get more comfortable as time goes by. In the meantime will try to make my Subject headings as informative as possible because I agree with you on how it makes it easier to know what I am reading. I feel comfortable here though and mostly I am enjoying and learning about and from people. Its exactly what I was looking for in a support group. There are many here that have so much more knowledge than I and others that seem to just need someone who understands to talk to. I probably need people to talk with that understand and don't mind listening to me go on and on, the information thats shared is interesting too...mostly I am a people person and tend to relate to others easily
Guest guest
That's the way to go Theresa... just jump in whenever you have a response. We're always jumping in on each other's conversations. It's a bit like a long groupie phone chat.. the subject wanders around during the course of the chatting & during each day. Then those of us who live outside the States jump in at our 'odd' time zones & re-start various conversations. Just like the Merry-Go-Round at the Fun Park! I think its a reflection of how comfortable many members of the group are with each other. Especially those that have actually met each other in person. Strangely I find that I feel like I get to 'know' folk by reading most messages even if it's a thread I'm not involved in. I've looked at another PF Chat Board (Huff n' Puff ' I think its called but I can't get the hang of it & never bothered joining in.... I don't like the way it seems open to being read by anyone either. I was shocked at how I could read their Posts without actually becoming a 'Member'. I really value the comparative privacy of this board. It means I feel free here to vent about stuff! Get Comfy with us...let us get to know YOU!
