Porcelain and the metal bridge are given the go ahead by Andy. (though you

cannot know for sure what is in the bridge).

However, you will HAVE TO check under the bridge to see if there is amalgam

there (as there usually is).

That often means the crown gets damaged and you'll need a new one, in which

case you can choose a metal free option like Diamond Crown and feel secure

about the crown.

Please do not hope or assume there is no amalgam under the bridge. It must

be lifted to make sure.

Sorry , there are thousands of metal crown material made of allows and

you can never know what exactly is in what. I don't even think manufacturers

know or declare 'ingredients' sometimes.

I went with the option of removing all metal because I was not absolutely

certain what the crown had inside.

I'm not sure about the answer to your question...
