Much the same here, Isobel Esther is so called because DH liked Isobel and I

very much wanted to remember and have a reason to talk about my MIL (who was

Ester Margaret). She died very suddenly while I was pregnant with Isobel and

I too regret that she never met Isobel and doesn't remember her either

(since she lived too far away for frequent visits).

She was always so full of life, riding, performing in panto and helping at

church. She loved natural history and was otter watching in Scotland when

she died.

My daughters will never understand why a bank of cowslips brought a tear to

my eye (MIL carefully mowed round one that appeared in her lawn) :-( but I

hope they will inherit some of her enthusiasm for the world around her.

Ps this has been half written for ages BT can't mend ISDN lines!
