Guest guest
We went last night - what a fantastic concert!! We stood, towards the back, next to the compulsory girls' loony night out, which was very entertaining. I thought DD1 was going to cry, she was so excited and we all (me, Jemima, my sister and her boyfriend) danced and sang our little hearts out. It was an excellent show. Those of you who haven't got tickets but fancy it, it might be worth just turning up on the night: the touts were selling £32 tickets for £20, and so the gate, determined not to be undercut, were selling them for £10!! DD1 has neckache today (headbanging!! to Back for Good, the punk remix!), and is very tired - we got home about 11:30, but we all had a fantastic time: he is a real showman. He even brought his mum on stage (aah, bless!) and sang " She's the One " to her. Funny moments: my daughter's naivety was refreshing! I was very glad she asked for explanations of some of his more risque remarks; he got everyone with cameras to co-ordinate taking flash pictures on a count of 3 - the stadium was *really* lit up with all the camera flashes; the girls' night out grabbing one of the t-shirt sellers to dance with - he thought his night was made! People watching - *why* would you dress up in your best Wedged-Up Cheshire Totty to go to a hot, sweaty pop concert? Oh, and the £50 sweatshirt was £60 up here!
