Guest guest
Hi Donna!! Hope you are feeling somewhat better today. Protonix is what Glenn has been on for several months now, with no problems. They just took him off of it last week, thinking it might be causing the severe diarrhea he's had for almost 2 wks., but he's still having the diarrhea!! It DIDN'T cause the diarrhea, the Cipro anti-biotic CAUSED it, but they were thinking that since he's been off the Cipro, and now off the Flagyl and still having problems, they would take away the Protonix. What a pain in the butt... pun intended!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
Guest guest
I have a duodenal tumor that WAS ulcerated and bleeding causing pain. The GI dr gave me prevacid which helped the reflux. My onc then gave me another medicine called carafate. It is a pill you crush and take an hour before you eat. It is supposed to coat the ulcer area. It worked very well for me. I used it with the prevacid. I have to restart the med now because while the tumor isn't bleeding I can feel it is there. Jane > Hi Donna!! > > Hope you are feeling somewhat better today.
