Of all the above, Hashimotos is the most tricky as your thyroid system is

being attacked by your own immune system. Does anyone have any further

information/success stories on how to best treat/cure this?

----------I have not concentrated on my thyroid because of all the other

things that keep happening to me, and foolishly I have not tracked my

temperatures. But 3 years ago I found out that I had the antibodies (Hashi's),

but didn't find a doctor who understood the adrenal part, which is a big issue

for me, so have gone untreated (for thyroid, am now treating adrenals). I did

try Armour once before adrenal support, and crashed as expected, and haven't

tried it since. Anyway, in the mean time, I have done lots of adrenal support,

and have been taking selenium and iodine, and the last time I had my antibodies

checked, they were down, below the ref range! So something has helped to bring

mine down, but I don't know if it's been supplements, chelation, adrenal

support, or what. So that's my two cents.---------Jackie

Overall, mercury can be the cause of all of the above issues, and chelation

a huge part of the cure.

Thanks,

One more thing Dean. They talk about correcting low iron on NTH group, when

having trouble with Armour. Now they don't understand its relationship with

mercury, and that your body is probably keeping it low to protect itself, so I

wouldn't follow their huge dosing advice for iron, but, mine was *extremely

low*, my ferritin was only 4 almost 3 years ago, when Cutler recommends between

30-70 and HTN recommends 70-90. So, I have followed Cutler's advice and taken

lots of antioxidants like Vit C since then, and have in the last year taken a

highly absorbable form of iron called IronSorb with meals with digestive aids,

and my ferritin has come up to 51. So maybe this had some effect on my

antibodies going down?

The other thing I've been supplementing heavily and have actually had

tested/measured, is my Vit D levels, and they have been coming up also. I have

no idea if Vit D has any relationship to thyroid, but these are some of the

things that I have been correcting during this time. I have also been using

progesterone cream and taking DHEA and pregnenolone, besides HC and

ACE.----------Jackie
