Guest guest
Hi Lora Ann, It's not flavor packs, it's a flavored mix that you mix w/ water in the gallon jug, then refrigerate the night before. They say that cold makes it more palatable. We'll see about that... I'll let you know how things go. ~Joanne > Joanne, > If you are getting to add flavor packs to yours then you may be fine, that is something that my dr. didn't offer. Good luck to ya and let me know how everything goes...........Lora Ann
Guest guest
I never thought I would reach the point of wishing I could take a laxative:) I am on day 3 of my liquid diet. Geez I am hungry and of all things craving a big dish of spaghetti and meatballs. Of course with a big salad. It gets to the point I just go to bed and sleep awhile to forget it. I am also taking a little MOM every day hoping that will help clean out. Almost tempted to take a regular laxative but afraid it would make me sick as it has before and I would not be able to get to Dr appt. tomorrow. After this I just hope he does not tell me he can't do it Tuesday after he examines me. No I never cared for the laxative thing but my problem is I have the striture or narrowing of the rectum or some place down there. If I take a laxative it just can't come pouring out and I get very sick from it. Hope after Tuesday that problem will be solved. If he can't get this stretched open and get the biopsy they will do surgery to get it. If there going to cut me open they may as well do what they have to while they are in there. I am scared to death of surgery. I had such a bad time with infections and staph before I think they want surgery as last resort. He even mentioned if it is cancer again maybe just chemo and radiation. His educational guess as he worded it was that it was cancer. Guest guest
Well I hope you get through this all okay. Is terrible to have cravings when you can't eat.. But soon you will be able too.. Hopefully they will stretch you out so you can go properly. Hang in there gal, you almost have it licked.
