Guest guest
We go on holiday at the end of July so DS3 will be sleeping in a bed. In preparation we thought we would move him onto a mattress on the floor. (That's how he sleeps at nursery.) We did this half term week and it is not working! He gets up and plays, puts everything into his bed.....potty, jigsaws, books, babywipes, nappies, etc. He has gone from a child that slept from 6.30pm to 7am to a child finally dropping off at 9pm and waking up grumpy at 7am. I have now moved the Brio from his bedroom, as he was found building train track at 8pm. DH says he will make the cot into a bed for me this weekend. Do I carry on? I don't remember the other two been so awkward about moving from cot to bed, although they were younger (DS3 is almost 2). My intention was to keep him in his cot for as long as possible. HV says put him back in his cot and he will adapt on holiday - not sure about that. Trisha SAHM to 3 boys
