Guest guest
Hi Andy & Happy Thanksgiving, I seen you posted, so thought I'd see if I could catch you on a couple of things. My hair tests show the very low Ca & Mg, and you say in HTI that in this case, too much exercise makes you feel worse, and that is the case with me. My question is, does supplementing with Ca & Mg help to correct this, or is chelation the only thing that will fix this? I also seem to have the ACTH paradoxal response to stress, but haven't been tested for it, so I think this plays into this also, right? And that is a pituitary thing, right, and chelation is what will help that? Arsenic. Mine is very high on my hair test, .30, all the way to the right in the red. I still show deranged mineral transport, so still have a mercury problem also, and I believe the arsenic is a real problem, because it is in my well water (have purchased a distiller for drinking water), and I imagine the mercury made me hold onto the arsenic also, or I'm just a non-excretor. Anyway, I was curious how high of arsenic levels you have seen in your experience, said I was one of the highest she has seen. (I think she talked to you about me and my arsenic.) I know you say to test serum pyruvate when arsenic is a problem because of blood sugar problems, mine is high now, but my regular doctor wouldn't do it. Is this something worth pursuing through Direct Labs or a place like that? Or not that important? You did recommend an Atkins type diet, and I do feel best on meat and veggies, but am hypoadrenal, so do need some carbs sometimes. And I am taking Biotin 3-4X a day also. My blood sugar problems may have more to do with overdoing HC, because I went through a very stressful period and did lots of stress-dosing for too long this fall. And my hair test last Feb. didn't show any blood sugar problems, my Ca/Mg was 8.27, in range. Or, if blood sugar problems has more to do with arsenic and pyruvates, does it not show up in this ratio? Just curious, I guess I'm trying to determine which one is the culprit, or is it both. I suspect too much HC is what pushed me over. Thanks for your time, Jackie
