So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake. I feel better already. I have got to say however that if a complete stranger (to me) came up to me and started telling me off for using my mobile phone around my children I would NOT take to it kindly. Oh I quite agree. Tammy needs to get her brain in gear before she opens her mouth sometimes. She has her heart in the right place and always means well but she never was my brightest kid . Yelling like she did at Yeshaya was *not* a good idea, all it achieved was to alienate him from her. He has no intention of going anywhere near her for the next hundred years. I go and visit Tammy most Sabbath afternoons as she lives within a five mn walk (as opposed to DD1 who lives a good 20 mns walk away). Sometimes Tammy can be great company, but sometimes she's on some kind of crusade and she'll spout a lot of rubbish and upset me and I'll go home feeling really depressed. Out of all my girls, Tavya, who is the second youngest, seems to be the best one for saying exactly the right thing at the right time and being bright and sensible. If I am down or upset she's the best one to talk to. DD1 Sara is very sensible and bright, but has her father's offhand attitude to others' distress. She'd as likely say " oh well, get over it, " than say something comforting and cheering. It's not her being unfeeling, it is literally her attitude to life. She very seldom shows her innermost feelings.
