Guest guest
The "minors" are baseball at it's best...without the biggest egos and the $$ of the major leagues, the stadiums are smaller and tend to cater to families and the tickets are very affordable even on a fixed income. Tonight was gratis cause it was an invitation only event but the terrace seating we were in normally costs $14....yes $14. And the average ordinary perfectly good seats that I would normally purchase are $6 and $8. Even I can afford that once in awhile. You can't even get a hot dog and a soda at a major league park for $8. There's nothing like sitting watching a kid with dreams of the major leagues hit a grand slam homerun in the very first inning. It's just irresistable to me! Beth Moderator Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 Dermatomyositis 11/08 To: Breathe-Support Sent: Tuesday, April 28, 2009 10:45:57 PMSubject: Re: Checkin' in!
