Guest guest
: I often wondered if I *wasn't* meant to be a mother of boys and that's why my boys have been less successful than my girls; the first one died in a tragic accident, the second one is estranged and angry and the third..well I have hopes for him yet! but he certainly isn't shaping up into the Torah scholar his Dad would love as a son! We love him for what he is of course but sometimes when I see the look of longing in DH's eyes when he sees his brother's five sons who all *seem* (I use the word advisedly cos one never knows) to be going on the straight and narrow, wearing the garb of the Orthodox Jew and studying hard. Sorry about that, that was a bit self indulgent. Yeshaya is a good boy in his own way and we love him very much indeed. Regarding dressing boys up, from my memories of when my kids were little, and watching my daughters enjoying the cute little boys' outfits around, with matching caps, mini trainers etc, I don't think that's a problem!
