Hi Jacqui....try www.portablenebs.com. I and many of us here have this one....$65, FDA approved and works fine...the yellow one.

Take care.

Oximeter questions - PLEASE !!

I was dx'd with polymyositis in Dec. 1988 (cpk over 15,000), then pulmonary fibrosis the falling summer, then a number of other med. problems to follow - but that's not why I'm here...I stay as active as I can walking my 2 Goldens, house work, home repairs...just the normal everyday stuff..PM has been under control for a couple years without meds...BUT then a year ago, my breathing started to get much worse very quickly - pul. fibr. had to show its ugly head...I'm back on Imuran, which seems to be helping, but now I'm suppose to use oxygen whenever I exert myself or I have to slow down enough to keep my O2 level in normal range...so I'm looking to buy a "reliable" oximeter which is reasonably priced that I can use while I'm walking my dogs...If anyone has any experience with the reliable/reasonably priced ones that pop onto the end of ones finger - I'd really love to hear about them (good AND bad)...I'd totally appreciate anything you'd care to share with me...Thank You !! Jacqui in MN
