Guest guest Posted July 30, 2001 Report Share Posted July 30, 2001 Regarding Halloumi, The " Total Care " one I get from Safeway is " Vegetarian Soc " approved, complete with seedling symbol and I couldn't see it being approved if the rennet was of calf origin. The Turkish shops at the bottom of our road sell lots of different makes, you have to read the ingredients as only about one-third are made without rennet. laura > we have separate BBQs ... I thought that maybe I'd had a mental aberration and not checked the label of the halloumi I buy!! Fortunately it is a vegi one!!
