Does anyone know if there has been any reasearch of mercury proven

leaving the brain.

An biological expert has said that once ALA and mercury meet in the

brain they cannot pass the blood-brain barier together because it has

become water-solluable...

I dont beleive it since so many people are seeing improvements in the

brain area.

Any links or thoughts?

-----------------I don't understand chemistry, so tend to believe Andy on this

stuff, since he has a Phd. I don't have the post number, but I have this

written down at home, its Andy's response to this question: " How do we know

that ALA crosses the blood/brain barrier? "

His answer: " All lipophilic and amphiphilic things do. This is well known.

Direct evidence of it is reviewed in the paper by Biewenga which is easy to get

an abstract and citation for on PubMed. "

I also think he said that ALA is water and fat soluble, and that is why it can

cross the blood/brain barrier. I hope you chemistry buffs will correct me, if I

have any of this wrong. Hopefully or Andy himself will respond to this,

because this is all I know about this. Like I said, chemistry is not my thing.
