Guest guest
Oh joy - I've just started a dispute with NTL because they missold me a television package - someone phoned me up and told me I could have a load of extra channels without charge if I took Film Four for a month and they would continue free even if I took Film Four off again, which I did. I got the bill last week and its cost me nearly £30. I complained and they are going to pull the tapes of the phone conversation so I was hoping for some resolution but having read this, maybe not! After 5 months we are still waiting for our phone line to be changed. My friend whad a fault and they said they had fixed it, when we looked in the box, it had not been touched...they lied to fob us off! On the otherhand when BT billed me £86 for an internet line that I never had or asked for, it took over a year for them to stop threatening to take me to court, and a further 6 mths to pay the money back!
