Just installed norton on a laptop which supposedly had antivirus

software protecting it (macafee) and it found two infected files.

Don't worry, I don't think they're the kind that email themselves to

anyone; I don't have OE and I don't use an address book in eudora

anyway.

I am just scanning it again as I didn't do anything about one of the

two, and now I can't find it. It's just SO important to have good

antivirus software and to keep it constantly updated.

Very strange email from heather.haldey this morning. It was basically

almost the same as the one with the virus as attachment, only it

didn't have an attachment, just a lot of gibberish after all the names

and addresses in the body of the mail. Is this a virus too? My

antivirus didn't seem to think so, and I am running a scan now.

I think this virus sends out random gobbledegook as well as sending

itself to people in your mailbox. I should just delete anything from

until further notice - as per Cerys' post, knows she's

got it and is sorting it out.
