3 hours? Thanks, Sidney

---------Since you are 6 months post amalgam removal, it is ok for you to try

just ALA. Some people do just fine with it alone, and some need to chelate with

DMSA or DMPS first for awhile, or some feel better with DMSA + ALA or DMPS+ALA,

so you will have to do some experimenting.

But it is fine for you to try ALA by itself, and yes 12.5mg would be a good

dose to try, and yes take it every 3 hours. You may have to make some

adjustments based on symptoms, and this just takes some trial and error at

first. If symptoms are too bad, then you may need to lower your dose, and some

people feel better with even more frequent dosing, like every 2 or 2-1/2 hours.

If symptoms are manageable on and off rounds, then stick with this dose for a

few rounds.----------Jackie
