Guest guest
Glad to hear that some people have found it easier going from two to three than from one to two as I am hoping to have a similar gap between DD2 and potential third child but the thing that has been worrying me is that I would not be able to cope as I found it quite difficult going from one to two. Then again we had just moved house as well! Francesca

Guest guest
Tell me - is one to two really THAT bad? Is it worse than none to one? I have a 21 month gap between my eldest 2 and they were great when they were little. Now aged 7 & 6 they are horrible to each other. The fight - physically kicking and punching - they call each other names, shout, deliberately hide each others belongings. It is only in the last few months and it is driving me nuts. Totally. The gap between DS2 & 3 is 4 years minus a week or so, and that was fine at first, before DS3 could move and cause havoc. Mostly he is tolerated, but not all the time. DS3 does adore DS2 and is usually shouting " JAW " his version of , but he never attempts to shout Jack. I don't actually think that there is an ideal gap, it depends on the individual children and how they react and until you have had the baby you have no idea how they will react.
