Guest guest
Lesley, that's brilliant! Well done DD2! But heck, going back to school before the bank holiday?!? It always used to be about the 4th September!!! Anneliese and Toddler Tim Good Week > > DD2 has had a wonderful first week at school. She was so excited about going and, thank goodness, it lived up to her expectations. She has been fast tracked through the reading scheme and now has a book with words in it, which she can read already, along with all the word cards she was given. Her teacher has also been doing number work with her, as DD2 was complaining that she hadn't done any 'big people's maths' by Wednesday!! She is much calmer and more reasonable during the afternoons (she finishes at 12.30) and we've had some pleasant times, without the usual battles that occur all too often. > > Lets hope it lasts!! > > Lesley > > >
