Guest guest
Hi all - have been very quiet recently as I found I just couldn't keep up with the volume of post. Just thought I'd pop in and keep you updated on my raging hormones (ha ha) The very sad news is that the induction of the menopause has not worked and I am still bleeding so now I have been told that the inevitable must happen asap. Also they have discovered some abnormal cells. I am off to see the specialist tomorrow and will probably have a full hysterectomy next week or the early part of the week after. As you can imagine I am devastated. All choices have now been taken away from me. But I suppose that at the end of the day I just want to be well again for the girls. I am not doing a very good job at the moement at being a mummy. I am so tired all of the time and also very low. In fact last week for the first time I put up my hands and admitted that I needed help. MIL has had the girls for the last few days to give me some rest. I feel sad that it has come to this but in the long run I know that we will all benefit as I can no longer carry on the way I was. I have just rung the committee and resigned as Chair but I hope to be up and about for our Ball in October. I will continue to mooch about in the background on this list until I go in (it makes me laugh and cry) but just wanted to say thank you to you all for having been there in the past.
