Hello all,

I would appreciate it very much to get a comment

on my question. Some days ago nobody gave one.

My own answer - on this moment - is to stick at 25 mg., both.

It is going allright. I use 25 mg. dmsa and 25 mg. ala.

12 rounds dmsa only and 13 rounds dmsa and ala.

(allways 25 mg.; almost no problems (maybe at the beginning).

Yesterday has been my 6 month-point (amalgam-free).

My feet feel ligther; my itching is less, though not totally away.

My mood is better, and so on, so on, so on.

Little things, but for me very noticable.

Sometimes (part of) the day is as bad as always; it really are " ups and downs " .

My question: because it is going fine I can keep my dosis

just this level. But when it would be possible to order and use 37.5 mg ala

I would take that level (whithout hesitation). My wife could make

that level (I have 50 mg. ala), but that would not be easy.

Or I could try just one round 50 mg ala (and 25 mg. dmsa)

and see/feel how it goes (why not ? Is it so dangerous ?).

So: I have 3 choices: stay at 25 mg. both.

25mg. dmsa and 37.5 mg. ala

one round 25mg. dmsa and 50 mg ala. (just look

and see/feel).

What would you recommend me ?

P.s.: Andy Cutler is a great man.

Greeting,

Simon

I would try a round at 25 mg DMSA and 37.5 mg ALA to see how it goes.

If all is well then I would stay there for about 3 months.

The reasons come from what I have heard Andy say in the past - once

the dose is right stay there and chelate for several months (which you

have already done with the doses you are at now). When increasing,

don't increase more than 50% at a time (going from 25 to 50 mg would

be doubling, too much too fast, the side effects could scare you).

ALA would be the one to increase because it is the " work horse " chelator.

Splitting capsules is a pain, but not so difficult. I split 250 mg

capsules by 8 to get about 31 mg. It is necessary that the person

doing the splitting has a fairly steady hand.

Best to you

J

Thanks , for your answering.

I " ll ask my wife for splitting the capsules

and make them 37,5 mg.

I am very positive I am on the right track.

It is going very good, though " you "

can not see the difference; I can feel it

and I am very very sure it is going allright.

Of course I keep you informed. There are or where

not that many men with m.s. on this site.

I don't think the diagnosis (m.s.) and/or the

symptoms are that important; the course is all

that matters. And that is the mercury in your body.

Greeting,

Simon

Jackie, you said:

" Sorry about this Simon. It's nothing personal, just sometimes

people get busy with other things, and can't keep up with the lists " .

I know. Please don't apoligize. It is a great site and I " appreciate " you all

enormously.

Andy Cutler in front, but you too. You are so important for other people, like

me.

Greeting,

Simon

then spells of not being on or feeling up to answering much. So it is

unpredictable who you will get to answer and when.--------Jackie

probably be the most reasonable thing to try. Another thought is have you ever

tried a round with just ALA? Some people feel better on that alone, some don't,

to have lead besides mercury, then sticking with the DMSA/ALA combo would be the

thing to do.-----Jackie
