Well, we are here. Half asleep but here. We arrived at our house

around 2 a.m local time, and walking through the silent garden in

front of the house, we saw our vine over the wall, groaning with

grapes, and our lemon tree bursting with fresh green fruit. Before we

had even entered the house, we had picked lemons and grapes. The

grapes are muscat, sweet and delicious.

We did little except unpack but Yeshaya, the night bird, busied

himself writing lists for the newly installed intercom system in each

room which enables us to contact people all over this house which is

on four floors. The marble floors have been newly polished, and they

squeak when I walk. We have a lady whose job it is to care for our

house when we are away, and that involves getting in any craftsmen,

builders, pest controllers when necessary, and organising our cleaner,

Devorah. She did some basic shopping for me too, but I have to go and

do a big shop down at the supermarket today.

The weather is HOT, like Sue Holden's weather in Cyprus. Luckily the

house is very cool, with its meter thick walls, and we have aircon in

my bedroom, the loft rooms (as they were newly constructed and dont

have the thick walls), kitchen and study. But the sun burns through

the blinds and I know it will be fierce out there.

Now I need some help please. My Israeli PC AND my laptop all seem to

have the old egroups bookmarked, none of them have the correct address

for the yahoo groups. Can someone mail me either off list or on,

telling me the exact web address of the yahoo groups so I can get

signed in? Thanks!

Ruthie
