Guest guest
My Mum used to do this with my little sister - she regularly used to pack sandwiches and used to take her coat and wellies and sit in the local playground (within sight of the house) until she'd calmed down. Similarly, my Great Aunt was a great runner away when little - went off for huge adventures by herself and frightened her parents witless. She used to knit her own children endless supplies of bright red jumpers so that, should *they* run away they'd be visible from a distance. She was most put out that they never tried it ) Vicki Portman http://www.plushpants.co.uk > Reminds me of when my foster son used to say " I hate this house! I > want to run away! " I used to say calmly: " off you go and pack then, > and I'll make you sandwiches. " He never did!
