It is very safe. There is no problem as long as they don't add glutathione, or other things to it. They can buffer it to a pH of 7.2 so it does not sting, but they should know that. However, you must NOT take ORAL vitamin C 24 hours before a dental appointment. That will interfere with the anesthetic. Well, having been part of the process of at least a dozen people going through the full dental revision with IV Vit C and conscious sedation I can say that it is quite accurate.
